I like the work on the particles, the modeling, lighting...
Some sugestions: You could subdivide the poligons of the jingle bell, because you can see them on the "belt" (of the bell)... and, you could remap the texture of the lower part of the hat (the big white one) so that you don't get that "stretchy" feel...

Its a sad picture so I would enhance the tear drop with photoshop or in the 3D to be more bright and capture more attention, its almost invisible.
